We invite you to join us at the Military Aviation Museum as we bring a WWII Airfield to life all around you! This will be our first Airshow event of 2021, and we are excited to welcome everyone back to the 130-acre grounds of the Virginia Beach Airport!
A squadron of vintage military aircraft from around the world will be coming together for a weekend of demonstrations, aircraft rides and other exciting activities on June 19 and 20. This safe, socially distant, outdoor event will be packed with family fun for all!

Gates Open 9am - 5pm
Flying Demonstrations 10am - 4:30pm
Enjoy 1940s-style entertainers along the flight line as you watch an unrivaled collection of Military Aircraft in action! This year our special focus is on celebrating the special connection between our Hampton Roads community and Naval Aviation. Guests will be able to enjoy demonstrations of some of WWII’s most famous fighters and bombers. Flights will also include aircraft designs from over 100 years ago, at the birth of Naval Aviation!
Flying will happen all day, on both show days weather permitting. We are still working to finalize the exact schedule, and will be announcing more participating aircraft in the lead up to the show. Additionally, our Museum Educators are working tirelessly to put together a special Aviation Discovery Zone for families!
World War II and Korean War Veterans and one guest receive free admission, special parking, & seating in a designated veterans area. (Preregistration is requested)
COVID-19 STATEMENT
In accordance with the latest Executive Order from the Governor of Virginia, the Museum Staff is anticipating the removal of social distancing requirements and capacity limitations. Mask guidance will remain in effect for the unvaccinated. Please stay tuned for further updates closer to the show!
